item 125 is Output Signal), but for item 126 it just shows the name as "/" (without the quotes). When scanning the other plugins it shows its number and name (i.e. It tells me that that are 176 items to scan, and it always crashes on item 126, but I don't know what item 126 is. However, when I do this, both Komplete and Maschine 2 crash whilst scanning. I read a support article (on ) and it said to delete the db3 for Maschine 2 and Komplete along with a a couple of other folders and re-run the applications and this will force a full re-scan/rebuild of the database. I was having some problems with libraries missing from both Kontrol and Maschine 2, although they were in clearly shown in Kontakt & Native Access. ![]() I am having a problem scanning libraries in Komplete Kontrol (and I am also having exactly the same issue in Maschine 2) Now, it's the samples' Content Type which determines these behaviors – the remaining 'Loops' and 'One Shots' tags are there merely for organization to preserve whatever tagging structure you'd been using previously. This seems to be the most appropriate place for this, but apologies if not. In the Content Type drop-down menu, select Loop and then click APPLY.Īll of the Loops will now be moved over to the All Loops tab of the User Library.īy separating Loops and One-shots into separate Content Types, MASCHINE and KOMPLETE KONTROL no longer rely on the 'Loops' tag for certain automatic functions like tempo-synced previews and auto-loading into the Audio plug-in.At the top of the Tag Editor, click the GENERAL tab. Then click the EDIT button at the bottom-right corner of the Browser to open the Tag Editor. ![]() ![]() Press and hold the Ctrl button on your keyboard and click the samples in the list to select them all. This will filter the list to only show samples tagged as Loops. Click the Loops tag at the top of the file list.Click the All One-shots tab to view all samples.Enable the User button in the upper-right corner of the Browser to view the User Library:.If you wish, you can manually move all of your Loops samples to the new All Loops tab of the Browser by doing the following: How to Manually Move User Loops to the new All Loops Tab Once you've selected the 'All One-shots' tab, you can then navigate to Loops or One-shots as usual, and select additional sub-type tags to further filter the sample list. Therefore, within the User Library, the new 'One-shots' tab is functionally equivalent to the previous 'Samples' tab in earlier versions of MASCHINE. All User Samples will currently appear in the 'All One-shots' tab of the Browser, regardless if they're tagged as Loops or One-shots. User Samples in the library have not been re-mapped or re-categorized. We are working on a solution to allow the remapping of these obsolete Sub-Sub-Type tags into either Sub-Types or 'Characters' so that they are usable again. While these tags cannot be accessed through the Browser, they are still in the files and database. This means is that it is currently not possible to access the Sub-Sub-Type tags in the newest versions of MASCHINE and KOMPLETE KONTROL. ![]() With NKS 1.5, there is now just Type and Sub-Type, along with 'Characters'. Previously, it was possible to have 3 levels: Type, Sub-Type, and Sub-Sub-Type. The new NKS 1.5 tag taxonomy reduces the levels of sub-tags for samples. The tags for Factory Instruments, FX, and Samples have been updated to the new NKS 1.5 tagging standard, and the Browsers have been redesigned to reflect the structure of the new tagging standard. The Browsers in both applications now separate sample content into two separate tabs: Loops and One-shots.Sample content has now been added to the KOMPLETE KONTROL Library, both Factory samples and User samples. The release of MASCHINE 2.8.0 and KOMPLETE KONTROL 2.1.0 contains three important changes:
